- Q: I'm a Leather & Lace
member. May I bring a guest to one of our events?
A: Guests, who are 21 years of age or
older, are permitted to attend. You, as a member, are responsible for
explaining the code of conduct and behavior expectations to your guest,
and to seeing that they are complied with.

Q: What is the difference between
a "guest" and a "sponsoree"?
A: A guest is an individual who is not
interested in pursuing membership, for example, an out-of-town friend
who happens to be visiting you. A sponsoree is one who has expressed
interest in joining the group, and under the guidance of a sponsor, will
be required to attend several Leather and Lace events and fulfill other
membership requirements before being successfully voted on and offered
membership.

Q: I'm interested in becoming a
member. How do I get sponsored?
A: The easiest way to get sponsored is to
become known to a member of Leather & Lace. One very good place to do
this is at the PEP-St. Louis
meetings & workshops. There is also the non-group specific Munch St.
Louis which takes place on the third Saturday of every month at 7:30 pm.
Leather & Lace also holds a monthly munch on the first Saturday of every
month at 7:30 pm. For more information on the Leather & Lace munch,
please email either our
Operations Director or our
Membership Director

process is:

years of age or older. If requested, you must show proof of age to
at least two Board members;

actively sponsored by a group member in good standing;

explaining the expectations of membership to their sponsoree and for

after the prospective member's Membership Application is completed
and turned into the Membership Director;

attend at least 3 open social events. Attendance at any StL3 event
prior to their Membership Application being completed and turned in
to the Membership Director can not be counted towards this
